About APEX Learning
Apex Learning's online curriculum is organized into semesters, units, lessons, and activities. A typical semester has 5-6 units, each with 5-6 lessons. A lesson comprises a number of activities that may include studies, practices, readings, journals, labs, discussions, projects, web explorations, reviews, and both computer- and teacher-graded assessments, including unit diagnostics. In each subject area, instructional content is based on relevant national standards, the Standards for Success, and key state standards.
Courses to assist students in preparing for AP exams in various subjects are also available through Apex and may be offered by Parade next year, depending on the results of this pilot program.
