Online Course Enrollment Form

On-Line Courses through Parade

As a pilot program, Parade is offering middle and high school students the opportunity to take on-line courses using courseware provided by Apex Learning.  Student participation and progress in these courses will be administered by Parade teachers.  Upon completion of the course materials and associated assignments, as agreed on with the supervising teacher, high school students will be awarded credit for their work.  Middle school students that earn graded credit (A, B, C, D, F) for their work in mathematics at Algebra I level or above or in a foreign language may transfer that credit to the high school level.

As part of this program, students will be expected to work between 5 and 10 hours per week on their course work, and will be required to communicate with their supervising teacher regarding their progress in the course at least once a week.  This communication can take place by phone, email or in person.  Grades will be determined by teacher evaluation of completed assignments and online assessments.
