Monday High School Spanish

Due November 19
1. Finish the rest of the activities in the "Que Tal" magazine from page 8 and on. Use a Spanish dictionary to translate any words you may not know in order to complete the activity. Make a vocabulary list of the words on the bottom right hand side in the box called "Palabras", pick ten words to write and define three times each on a separate piece of paper.
2. Watch or listen to something in Spanish. Write a quick summary of what you watched or listened to.

1. Read the magazine "Que Tal" all the way through, then complete all the activities up to page 8. Take note of the Spanish vocabulary "palabras" found on the bottom right hand side. What words were you familiar with? What did you learn about after reading the magazine that maybe surprised you?

1. Watch a DVD that has a simple plot and is familiar to you, in Spanish. See how much you can pick up of the Spanish Vocabulary
. Write a paragraph explaining your experience.
2. At your conference, pick up a copy of a Nicaraguan letter written by a younger student. Translate it and bring to class.
3. Attempt to write your pen pal letter in Spanish or take notes on what you want to include in your letter.

3. Listen to and/or watch Spanish programming. On the radio, on TV, or by watching a DVD in Spanish and with Spanish subtitles (your favorite movie may have the option to switch the language to Spanish).
