FOURTH QUARTER - PERSONIFICATION OF ANIMALS IN LITERATURE |

Reading: Wow! It is hard to believe that this quarter is almost over. Since it was a holiday week, we did not have class this week. Next week we are going on our field trip to The Outback Kangaroo Farm in Arlington. The bus will be leaving promptly at 9:15 am so students need to be here by 9 am. Also, there is no place to buy a lunch on this field trip so students need to bring a disposable sack lunch. Please do not have your student bring a lunch box or use items such as containers or utensils that need to be brought home. We are excited about our last trip of the school year. All students are required to have their books returned by June 2nd from both the classroom library and the school library or they will not receive their yearbook at our field day. URGENT: A month or so ago I sent home a paper requesting that you and your child keep track of the books that they read at home. I would love to get those lists back sometime in the next few weeks. If you need another sheet to keep track of the books, please let me know.

Science:
I am very excited to announce that we have some science kits that allow students to explore the Physics principles at home. These science kits are now available to be checked out. They will be in the Parent Library and there is a check out card in the top of the kit. Fill it out and put in the basket for filing. Please ask me about them if you would like to enrich your student's learning about Physics.
