Purpose: Year long course in Integrated II in which
students will continue to develop concepts in linear, exponential, quadratic
and rational functions, as well as Geometry topics. Topics include statistical sampling, models
of direct variation and growth, linear systems and matrices, quadratic
functions, coordinate geometry, similar and congruent triangle theorems, and
polynomial and rational functions.
Description of learning activities: . Concepts are developed
through graphs, diagrams and symbolic manipulation. In class activities and lectures support
student learning at home. Students will
be assessed via homework completion, quizzes and tests.
Follow-up or at-home activities: Students
will be given weekly assignments. Homework will vary but averages about
5-7 hours per week. Homework will
include textbook reading, reinforcement of concepts via online videos and
resources, and completion of homework problems. Parents need to closely monitor
work completion and assist students as needed. Students have only a limited
time to make up missing work
