3 - 1:00 pm to 2:10 pm
Class Length: Yearlong
Purpose: To give students the
experience of assembling and producing a yearbook.
Description of learning activities: Students will be involved in every step of the process to produce a
yearbook, including photography, page design and layout, obtaining written
information about people, events and activities included in the yearbook. Students will use laptops and computers in
the lab using Microsoft Publisher to create the yearbook.
Follow-up or at-home activities: Students will
need to be available during non-class hours to take photographs of students in
PARADE - these dates and times will be pre-arranged with students and parents.
Textbook/Materials needed: Programs
provided by PARDE, in the past some students have opted to use their own
cameras for the photography piece.
