1750 most people living in the American Colonies considered themselves to be
good English citizens.
What happened in those years is the subject of our next unit, The American Revolution. A contract for this unit will be sent home on Tuesday, November 17. WRITING There will be two writing projects connected to the social studies contract. The first of these is a report on one of the people, places, or events related to the American Revolution. The second project is an historical narrative (story) that takes place during this time period. More information on this is included in the contract. We will also discuss expectations and requirements together as a class. READING Reading will be incorporated into the social studies unit. It will include reading several small books written by Jean Fritz about the people of the American Revolution. |
